It all starts with a sketch, where we bring our inspiration to life. We use modern technology along with time-proven techniques to conceptualize our work before bringing it into a solid form.
3D Modeling
3d Modeling is an integral part of our process. We use a variety of techniques including CAD modeling, wax carving by hand, and goldsmithing to create something tangible from our initial vision.
Soldering
Working with fire is a captivating process, and a part of jewelry making that we love so much. Being classically trained, Chris and Norah are experts in using the torch to assemble jewelry the way it has been done for thousands of years, with heat.
Stone Setting
Creating beautiful frames for our precious stones is something Idle Hands prides itself on. We take meticulous care to ensure each
stone is set in a way that complements its natural beauty, for you to enjoy for
generations.
Detailing and Finishing
This is where the sparkle and “wow” factor are introduced. We take great care to finish our pieces with the utmost attention to detail, often under high magnification to ensure your jewelry will turn heads wherever you go.
