At Idle Hands Fine Jewelry, each piece of jewelry is a labor of love, meticulously crafted by us—Chris and Norah. As classically trained jewelers, we draw upon centuries-old techniques to create fine jewelry that stands the test of time.

Design & Concept

We begin with inspiration, translating our ideas into sketches and designs. Using a blend of traditional artistry and modern innovation, we create pieces that are both timeless and contemporary. Depending on the project, we may use a variety of techniques such as fabrication, wax carving, or 3D CAD modeling to bring our vision to life.

One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is getting to know our clients through the custom jewelry process. We take great pride in executing every step of the process ourselves, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.  We never outsource outside of the country, keeping our craftsmanship local and maintaining our commitment to quality right here in the United States.

One of our specialties is bright cut hand engraving, a technique that adds an extra touch of elegance and sparkle to each piece. This intricate, labor-intensive method creates a dazzling effect, enhancing the beauty of the gemstones and the overall design.
